Rouge is the advanced all treble voice show choir at Heid’s ETC School of Musical Arts. This talented group is in its 11th year of existence and is composed of over 30 9th-12th grade students from the greater Akron area. Our members pan from over 13 schools and 3 counties from Akron, to Canton, To Cleveland, to Youngstown.
These talented members practice once a week on Tuesdays for 3 and half hours from 5:30pm-9:00pm at their studio in Akron. Through ETC, each student is given the opportunity to take part in a competitive show choir, something that they often do not have the opportunity to do at their schools. They are able to meet new people, make new friendships, and have fun making great music every week.
In the 2024 season, Rouge went undefeated in the univoice division! They also won best choreography in each of the competitions for the univoice division and won best vocals in 2 of the 3 univoice divisions. They also placed 3rd overall at the Twinsburg Northcoast Invitational!.
This years group is under the Musical Direction of Zack Triscari and Brian Rodabaugh, Artistic Direction of Tara Tober, and choreography by Tara Tober, Jacob Jay Jones, and Zack Triscari. They are excited to start the 2025 season!
